Physical Fitness For All




Physical fitness is defined as the capacity to carry out the day’s activities without undue fatigue. However, as automation increased leisure time, changes in lifestyles following the industrial revolution rendered this definition insufficient. These days physical fitness is considered a measure of the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be healthy, to resist many types of deadly diseases and to meet emergency situations. 


1. Yoga:
         Yoga is a physical, Mental and spiritual discipline originating in ancient India. The goal of yoga, or of the person practicing yoga, is the attainment of a state of perfect spiritual insight and tranquility.
    The goals of yoga are varied and range from improving health to achieving salvation.
    2. Physical Fitness:
                                      Physical exercise is any bodily activity that enhances or maintains physical fitness and overall health and wellness. It is performed for various reasons including strengthening of muscles and also the cardiovascular system honing athletic skills,weight loss or maintenance, as well as for the purpose of enjoyment. Frequent and regular physical exercise boosts the immune system and helps prevent the "diseases of affluence” such as heart disease, cardio vascular diseases, Type 2 Diabetes and mainly OBESITY. It also improves mental health, helps prevent depression and to promote or maintain positive self esteem, and can even augment an individual's sex appeal or body image, which is also found to be linked with higher levels of self esteem. Childhood Obesity a growing global concern and physical exercise may help decrease the effects of childhood obesity in developed countries.

Health

 Health is the level of functional and the metabolic efficiency of a living being. In humans, it is the general condition of a person in mind, body and spirit, usually meaning to be free from illness, injury or pain.

It is very much required to stay healthy for a person to live among others in his life. Many organizations have been started to make sure the people are healthy all across the globe.

Health care is the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease, illness, injury, and other physical and mental impairments in humans. Health care is delivered by practitioners in Medicine, Chiropractic, dentistry, nursery, pharmacy, allied health and other care providers. It refers to the work done in providing primary care, secondary care and tertiary care, as well as in public health.
